Humanitarian aid for the community of Santa María (Colombia) due to social calamity linked to the rainy season.

The community of Santa María, Boyacá, Colombia, urgently needs your help: Recent heavy rains have left around 3,500 urban residents and 400-500 rural farmers isolated due to landslides and roads and bridge collapses.  The town is currently cut off, facing severe shortages of food, medicine, and fuel. This is why I created this pot and I write to you asking for your help with monetary donations that will directly support this community in Santa María.

- Your donations will provide essential supplies: food, hygiene products, and medical supplies. 

- Funds will also cover the fees of transportation and logistics of these products via boat, the only possible way to connect with the neighbooring small towns and with Bogotá. 

- The objective is also using the collected money to cover fees for special assistance for sick or elderly people who might need to be transported to neighboring small towns.

- Donations will also be used to assist those with damaged homes, those who who may need to evacuate their homes due to the risk of landslides or flooding.

Your support means the world to me and the people and farmers of Santa María. This cause is deeply personal to me, as my parents, sister, grandparents and other family members reside in this town.
